それは空耳だった

振り返って返事をしているわたしに

呼び止めたと思った人は気のつかぬ如く

とっとっと先の方を歩いて行った

わたしは一人とぼとぼここまでたどりついた

花の咲く頃には却って身を細くして

自動車をよけるような恰好になったものだ

ようやくここまでたどりつき

山道にさしかかったところだ

この山道を入ってゆくと道が分からないようにもなったり

高い崖や　危うい海岸へ出るようなことがあるかも知れない

誰もわたしを呼び止めないように

もう返事をするひまもない
