きその日は思おもひむすぼれ、とぼとぼと

馬を進むる憂うき旅路、これも旅かや

まのあたり、路みちのもなかに「愛」の神、

巡禮姿、しほたれて、衣手ころもて輕かろし。

うれはしき其そのかんばせは、さながらに、

位くらゐはがれしやらはれのやつれ姿か、

憂愁いうしうの思おもひにくれて吐息がち、

人目ひとめを避けて、うなだるゝあはれの君よ。

ふとしもわれを見給ひて呼び給ふやう、

『われは、今、かの遠里とほざとをはなれ來ぬ。

さきにはそこに汝なれが身の心しんの臟ざうをぞ

置きたれど、新あらたの悦よろこび得させむと
