ありとあらゆるわが思おもひ、「愛」と語りて弛たゆみなく

その種々くさぐさの語かたらひの數かずいと繁きひといろは、

勢いきほひ猛まうにわれをしも力の下に壓おさむとし、

またひといろは勢いきほひを誇り語りて、らうがはし。

あるは望のぞみを抱いだきつゝ、悦よろこびわれにあらしめつ、

あるは頻しきりにわれをしも憂うれひ悲しましむれども、

「憐あはれみ」仰ぐひとことは、すべての思おもひ皆おなじ、

心の底に潛みたる「恐おそれ」によりてふるひつゝ。

さてはいづれの思をば、頭の心と定むべき。

語り出いでむと思へども、語らふべきを吾知らず。

ただ茫然ばうぜんと、迷まどはしき「愛」の衢ちまたにひとり立つ。
