一日の演習に疲れて

へとへとになって帰ってくる是等の人々、

空腹――眩暈めまい、

いま靴の音も不揃いに

ふりあげる喊声……

水撒かれた小径、

うちつづく生籬いけがき、

ああその中を

彼等の一隊は過ぎてゆく、

いま遠くなる喇叭、

靴の音、

労苦と疲弊の一日の終り、

ああ落日の空の下の

一きわ高い彼等の歌！
