本誌の旧い寄書家の石川旭山君と新しい寄書家の山口孤剣君とは、ともに主義の犠牲となり、『平民新聞』紙上「父母を蹴れ」てう論文が、秩序壊乱の罪に問われ、石川君は発行兼編集人として六カ月、山口君は筆者として三カ月の軽禁錮に処せられ、去月二十五日、東京監獄へ入られました。

なお両君は監獄において大なる未来を持って居られます。両君はなお数組の事件を背負うて居られるのです。これらをみな通算して見ますと、石川君は実に十三カ月、山口君もまた八カ月の永い間鉄窓の下に淋しき朝夕を送らねばならぬのです。私どもは今両君に対して言うべき語を持ちません。獄裡では何よりも外からの音信が楽しみです。どうぞみなさんも時々手紙をあげて下さい。
