然ニ此度云々の念在レ之、手銃一千挺芸州蒸汽船に積込候て、浦戸に相廻申候。参（まいり）がけ下ノ関に立より申候所、京師の急報在レ之候所、中々さしせまり候勢、一変動在レ之候も、今月末より来月初のよふ相聞へ申候。二十六日頃は薩州の兵は二大隊上京、其節長州人数も上坂是も三大隊斗かとも被レ存候。との約定相成申候。小弟下ノ関居の日、薩大久保一蔵長（長州）ニ使者ニ来り、同国の蒸汽船を以て本国（薩摩）に帰り申候。御国（土佐）の勢はいかに御座候や。又後藤参政はいかゞに候や。京師の周旋くち下関にてうけたまわり実に苦心に御座候。乾氏はいかゞに候や。早々拝顔の上、万情申述度、一刻を争て奉二急報一候。謹言。
