今日の私たちの生活にとって、明日というものは、世界の歴史のなかで考え得る最も複雑な内容で予想されるものとなって来ている。きょうからあしたへのうつりが、ただ夜から朝へのうつりかわりだと感じているひとは、もう一人もいないだろうと思われる。明日をよく迎えたい心は、今日の生活を一層切実に愛し、そこから学べるだけのものを隈なくとって、明日へつづく自分たちの二度とはない生命を花咲かせたい願いをもたせる。

私たち女のその願いの熱い脈搏が、ここに集められたもののなかに響いていて、その自然な響きが又ほかのいくつかの胸の裡に活々とした生活への脈動をめざまさしてゆくことが出来るとしたら、ほんとうに歓ばしいと思う。
